Data Schema for Log Messages

If you configure IBM® Cognos® software to send log messages to a database, the tables and the columns in each table are automatically created when you start the IBM Cognos services.

To avoid name conflicts with database keywords, all column names in the log database have the prefix "COGIPF". If you are upgrading from ReportNet 1.1 MR1 or MR2 to IBM Cognos Business Intelligence version 10.1, the prefixes exist in the log database already and you do not need to make any changes. However, if you are upgrading from a release before ReportNet 1.1 MR1, to continue using reports that are based on the sample model from the previous release, you must update your audit metadata package to reflect the new column names.
