SAP BW Packages

Before you can use a SAP BW data source in any of the IBM® Cognos® studios, you must create a package.

When you create a SAP BW data source from IBM Cognos Administration, you are given the option to create a package using your new data source. You can also create a package for an existing SAP BW data source. For more information, see Data Source Creation.
