Creating headers automatically for sets in crosstabs
You can automatically add header labels on columns
and rows when working with sets in a crosstab that uses a dimensional
data source. The headers help consumers of the report to understand
where the data is in the hierarchy.
Header labels are added only when you add new sets to your crosstab. The labels are not added to existing sets. After you enable this option, it remains on until you disable it, and applies to any new crosstabs that you create.
Procedure
- From the Tools menu, click Options, then click the Report tab.
- Select Automatically create crosstab headers for sets.
- Click OK.
Results
Header labels are created in the rows and columns in a crosstab.
